October Favorites

October through December is my favorite time of the year. The makeup, the change of seasons, and all the holidays are only a few of the many reasons I love this time so much. The fall gives me a lot of my favorite products, and I’m excited to share them with you!!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sweets Glow Kit ($40)
ABH always kills it with their highlighters, but this one is extremely beautiful and unique. You get four full sized highlighters in this palette, and all of them have amazing pigment. There’s a snow white highlight, a purple one, a reddish one, and a gold one. They are very unique colors but can really compliment any skin tone.

Joanne By Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga kills it once again with this album. I was never a huge fan of Gaga, but I definitely am after this album. The record consists of her usual pop, but also has a folk-rock vibe to it. My favorite tracks from this album are “John Wayne” and “Diamond Heart”.

Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Out Loud ($24)
Although this is a bit pricey for a liquid lipstick, it is totally worth it. I usually cannot wear liquid lipstick for more than a few hours, but this formula does not dry out my lips whatsoever. This shade is a beautiful orange that is perfect for fall!

Agenda Starter Pack by ban.do ($22)

I recently picked this up, and it’s the cutest kit for any agenda or notebook. I have a love for cute packaging and stationery, and this is perfect for me. The set comes with stickers, a pink gel pen, holographic tape, and a few other goodies.

Clear Vinyl Ring Pendant Choker from Forever 21 ($7.90)

Chokers are very in style now, and I admit I’ve fallen for the trend. I decided to switch it up from my basic black choker and get this clear one, and I love it. It’s super cute and goes with any look. I get a lot of compliments on it, and although I had to extend it since it didn’t fit my neck, it was worth it!

"How to Ruin Everything" by George Watsky

This book is EVERYTHING. George Watsky, often known by his surname, is a slam poet and rapper. Composed entirely of personal essays, this book is extremely entertaining, especially if you are a fan of his music. While reading this, you can instantly see that his songs are based off of a lot of the experiences he talks about in the book.

American Horror Story Season 5: Hotel
A few years ago, I began watching this incredibly entertaining program. After hating Freak Show, I gave up on the show. I decided to give Hotel a shot once it came on Netflix, and I love it. It is very similar to the first season, which is my favorite, so that may be why I love it. The story is very compelling, especially if you love all things creepy like I do!
