Winter Skin Care Routine

Skin care is extremely important, especially in the winter months. I use many variations of my skin care routine, but this one is my favorite!

Step 1: Remove Makeup. I use the Studio 35 Makeup Removing Wipes that can be found at Walgreens. (These are the best ones I have found. A lot of them tend to irritate my skin, but these are really gentle in my opinion.) Then, when I continue to the rest of my skin care routine, I use the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel to remove any excess makeup. I really love this cleanser, and you can use it as the only product to remove all of your makeup.

Step 2: Exfoliate: I use two products to deep clean and exfoliate my skin. First, I wet my face fully. Then I take the St. Ives Apricot Fresh Skin Scrub and apply it to the places I have blackheads, problem areas, and blemishes. I then take my Foreo Luna Play and use that all over the spots that have the scrub on it, and use that tool to work the product into my skin, and then rinse it all off. This tool removes all of the blackheads on my nose. Afterward, I take my Tarte FRXXXTION Stick and apply it all over my face, rub the product into my skin, and rinse it off.

Step 3: Mask: I love using a mask after I wash my face. Usually, I take either a sheet mask or the Fresh Rose Face Mask and apply it for about ten minutes. This rose mask is really refreshing and is very gentle. It has a really nice scent, too.

Step 4: Moisturize: Before I do anything after my mask is washed off, I spray my skin with the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist. This spray is extremely hydrating and feels really good on the skin after cleansing it. It also has a really nice orange-citrus scent. After this, I use Youth to the People Kale = Spinach + Hyaluronic Acid Age Prevention Cream to moisturize and reduce the lines on my face. I received this as a sample, and I have been loving it. I will switch between this and my Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet, which is one of my favorite moisturizers. It also has a nice scent! After this step, I apply my Vaseline Pink Bubbly Lip Treatment Balm to my lips.

Although this routine may seem like it requires a lot of products and effort, it is extremely important to take care of your skin-- especially in the winter!
