Plastic World

Our society conforms through fashion and beauty. Manipulating the use of mannequins and barbies, I've recently begun reflecting on the "plastic look" and how people strive to look the same by using light to interfere with distortion of the human face.

Teenagers now incorporate beauty products into their day-to day-routines, hiding their identities and creating a false image.

Advertisements are sold to us through the clothed mannequins in shop windows, causing us to take in suggestions for improving our  identities without even realizing.

Is this you?
